After the New Year’s Eve delay, the final cable ratings for last week’s iMPACT! are now available and they’re not too bad. Last week’s episode of iMPACT! scored a final cable rating of 1.09 which represented about 1,395,000 viewers over the course of the show’s two hours. This compares slightly favorably to the prior week’s “Christmas” episode which scored a final cable rating of 1.07 and an average audience of 1,403,000 viewers.
In terms of this fictitious Thursday Night War that exists as a comedy piece on this website, last week’s episode of Superstars scored a final cable rating of 0.67 on WGN America. The 0.67 cable rating represented a total audience of 635,000 viewers.
Overall, it would appear that iMPACT! is drawing in a core audience each week of about 1,400,000 to 1,500,000. That’s the base that TNA Wrestling has to build on in the new year.
