Dillon’s Thoughts: Although I’d have preferred a one-on-one, I’m pumped to see these three men go at it. Should be an awesome match that will be talked about the next day.
Dillon’s Prediction: Well I’m going to ignore the possible spoiler alert about the winner that’s floating around. I’d like to see Anderson win. Basically Kurt (in my opinion) needs a break to heal up, and Jeff Hardy’s future is still in the air with his legal issues. So Anderson just seems like the safest bet. Plus there’s the fact that all 3 men here are babyfaces. I’d love to see Anderson cheat to win, and then really do something afterwards to rub in the fact that crowd favorite Kurt Angle must now “retire”. Or do something so bad to Jeff Hardy that the crowd chucks stuff in the ring like it was Bash at the Beach 96′. So yes, I’d like to see Mr. Anderson win and do something to become a monster heel too.
Jarrett’s Thoughts: This will be a really good match. In all honesty, I would have much rather seen AJ in the match instead of Hardy so there would be a good heel and excellent performer in the match, but it will be great regardless. But it also is clear as day who the winner and new TNA Champion will be
Jarrett’s Prediction: Kurt Angle wins the TNA Title and keeps his career
Joe’s Thoughts: Kurt Angle isn’t going to be forced into retirement, but something is telling me to go with Jeff Hardy on this one. While I want to predict Hardy to win, the fact that Angle just signed a one-year extension tells me to go with him. And hey – how nice will it be to have a champion in TNA again, right?
Joe’s Prediction: Kurt Angle
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Mr. Anderson
Dillon’s Thoughts: I’m happy that the MCMG are getting their time to shine. And that TNA is giving them a fresh team to feud with. Beer Money & Team 3D are great but it gets stale after a while, seeing the same teams going for the titles. And the build up and mic work over the past few weeks have really given credibility to GenMe.
Dillon’s Prediction: I think Generation Me will come close, but the titles will stay with the Guns. I really hope this feud goes on past BFG though.
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I hate Generation Me, and not in the heel way, as in the “run in front of a transfer truck” way. They are excellent in ring performers, but I just despise the gimmick and the way they talk.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Machine Guns
Joe’s Thoughts: While I’m a fan of Generation Me, I don’t think that they’re ready to carry the entire tag team division yet. I’m going with my favorite tag team – the Motor City Machine Guns!
Joe’s Prediction: Motor City Machine Guns
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: MCM
TNA X-Division Championship
Douglas Williams vs. Jay Lethal
Dillon’s Thoughts: Although this has nothing to do with the match, I just don’t like Douglas Williams in Fortune. Desmond Wolfe was a better fit. However he has fit into the X-Division nicely as an alternative to the high flyers. And Jay Lethal is on the verge of becoming something big.
Dillon’s Prediction: I think Williams will regain the belt. More gold in Fortune does nothing but help, and Lethal with the X-Title reminds me of the millionth IC Title run RVD or Jericho had…they no longer needed the belt but it was put on them because there wasn’t a good division built up. Same with Lethal right now. Douglas wins the belt back so Fortune has bragging rights and Lethal moves up the card.
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Huh? Didn’t know this was on the card.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Lethal retains?
Joe’s Thoughts: Something is telling me that TNA Wrestling is going for the “feel good” moment with this match. I think Jay Lethal wins this match and we have a great celebration after the match.
Joe’s Prediction: Jay Lethal
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Jay Lethal
Dillon’s Thoughts: Glad to see that Mickie James is now a Knockout and not a lame Diva. It’s great that TNA is getting her involved without hotshotting her into a match with no build. And the four women in the match have never failed to entertain me.
Dillon’s Prediction: Glad that Tara is back, however she’s done nothing lately to pose a significant threat to Love’s reign. Madison could win but we’ve seen that. Velvet could win and they could tease some tension between TBP. But they just got back together, so naaah. I think Love will retain so we can get a match between the top Knockout and the top former-Diva. Almost a dream match.
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Mickie James spiked my interest into this match, she’s (for me) one of my favorite women in pro wrestling. You have strong wrestlers in Tara, Love, a strongly improved Rayne and lastly Velvet Sky. I hate special guest referee’s that don’t contribute anything to matches so I hope James serves some purpose. Since Mickie flubed and called Madison champ, I’m going to go with her.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Rayne wins
Joe’s Thoughts: Whenever you have more than one wrestler in a match, I think the chances of picking the winner become exponentially harder. However, let’s play process of elimination. I don’t think Madison Rayne is going to win so she’s out of my “winner’s pool.” I’m not sure that Velvet Sky will win the title so she’s out, too. And that leaves Tara… Well, she could win, I guess. I think what I’m saying is that Angelina Love is walking away with the championship.
Joe’s Prediction: Angelina Love
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Madison
Handicapped Match
Jeff Jarrett & Samoa Joe vs. Kevin Nash, Sting, & D’Angelo Dinero
Dillon’s Thoughts: Nash is leaving soon, or so he says on Twitter, so maybe TNA can weave it into the storyline. I’m interested in the storyline for this match and I hope it’s all FINALLY revealed. Joe is always a wild card so I wonder if he will double cross Double J.
Dillon’s Prediction: Hard one. Part of me thinks someone will come out to side with Joe & Jarrett. However I think the team of Nash, Sting & Dinero will win. But something big will go down either before or after the match.
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Surprised they didn’t have someone to replace Hogan. Nash has basically said he’s at the end of his TNA Run and is going to retire. So I think the “heels” will win and the smoke and mirrors will become clear
Jarrett’s Prediction: Nash, Sting, and Dinero win
Joe’s Thoughts: Oh boy… Well, this is interesting because my prediction for Abyss’ “they” are in this match. In my view, “they” are going to be Kevin Nash, Sting, and Vince Russo (with D’Angelo Dinero added for youth and good measure). And I think that “they” are going to set the tone in TNA Wrestling for the next few months. So… I have to go with “them” to win.
Joe’s Prediction: Kevin Nash, Sting, & D’Angelo Dinero
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Jeff & Joe

EV 2.0 vs. Fourtune
Dillon’s Thoughts: I like the guys in EV2.0 but I’m ready for that faction to be no more.
Dillon’s Prediction: Fortune wins and continues to dominate.
Jarrett’s Thoughts: What does EV2.0 have to gain from this match? Nothing. What does Fortune have to lose from losing the match? Everything. I really have questioned this feud because EV2.0 has nothing to gain while Fortune has everything to lose. Hopefully this match will propel Fortune into being THE threat in TNA.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Fortune wins
Joe’s Thoughts: Any takers on whether or not this is going to be a blood bath? Ha ha! I think that’s the only legitimate prediction that someone can make for this match – that the entire gang of folks involved are going to be dripping in blood by the end of the match. However, I think that Fourtune will play a prominent role in the next twelve months in TNA Wrestling, so they get the win in this match.
Joe’s Prediction: Fourtune
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: EV 2.0
Monster’s Ball
Abyss vs. Rob Van Dam
Dillon’s Thoughts: I think they were a bit over the top with the bloody beatdown on RVD a while back. But he’s back so I’m happy about that. And I enjoy the real monster Abyss instead of the wuss we’ve seen for the longest time.
Dillon’s Prediction: I really don’t know here. I want to say RVD but I can easily see Abyss winning. I think I’ll go with RVD to win but Abyss to rain on his parade with the reveal of “They”.
Jarrett’s Thoughts: The Whole Kidnapping angle came off bad, and so did the firing papers. I say that Rob Van Dam takes it and Bischoff finds a way to keep Abyss on board in TNA
Jarrett’s Prediction: Rob Van Dam
Joe’s Thoughts: Rob Van Dam goes from sitting on top of the promotion to being sidelined for a few weeks due to being used too much (i.e. running out of dates on his contract) to getting tossed into what will invariably end in a bloodbath with Abyss during the biggest pay-per-view of the year. Yikes! I’m going with Abyss and “they” on this one.
Joe’s Prediction: Abyss
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: RVD
Eric Young & Orlando Jordan vs. Ink, Inc.
Dillon’s Thoughts: Eric Young is much more entertaining as the goofy character, and I’m digging Orlando’s Goldust-like persona. Yeah it’s eye-rolling lame but it’s still entertaining. However I’d love to see a tag team 3-way between Inc Ink vs. MCMG vs. Generation Me. Maybe one day.
Dillon’s Prediction: Ink Inc wins via some goofy shenanigans by Eric Young.
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I don’t care! I had forgot about Jordan (and it was a good thing) and now he’s teaming with Eric Young?
Jarrett’s Prediction: Ink Inc.
Joe’s Thoughts: I’m not quite sure why this match is on the biggest pay-per-view of the year, but whatever. I’m going with Ink, Inc. for the win since I think they have more to achieve in the coming year (including a feud with the Tag Team Champions at some point this year). Plus, Eric Young may be putting on a good comedy routine, but that will only take you so far in professional wrestling.
Joe’s Prediction: Ink, Inc.
William’s Thoughts:

Not bad predictions. We will have to see how these storylines come to and end.
