According to PWInsider and various other sources Eric Young recently shopped his services to the WWE once his TNA Wrestling contract expired. According to these reports the WWE showed little if any interest in signing the TNA star. The reports also suggest that Eric received a clause in his contract allowing him to seek and obtain Indy bookings without going through the TNA approval process.
As always we remind you these are unconfirmed sources. If the stories are true it’s a good thing for Eric as a lot of Indies like to move fast ont heir star booking and awaiting approval could cause them to move on to another talent. If this clause was was included in his contract it would likely indicate it is a pay-per appearance contract. This gives both Eric and TNA flexibility. Of course this is all speculation and we will update you if we get anything concrete on the situation.
