Hi, my name is Nick Bosma. I attended the TNA house show in Spencer, IA. I was talking to the guy in front of me and he said he bought his ticket at 7am today. There was only a little over 1,000 people there, or a little over half capacity.
It started out with JB coming out and getting the crowd pumped up. He said he used to work in Fort Dodge.
The first match was Cury Man vs. Sonjay Dutt -Curry Man won.
The second match was supposed to a #1 contenders match for the Knockout title with ODB vs Gail Kim, but Jackie came out and made it a triple threat match ODB vs. Gail Kim vs. Jackie. At one point ODB was tossed outside the ring and while she was resting she grabed a fan’s beer and drank it – ODB won.
Then James Storm came out because he was suppose to fight Rhino, but they said he was not cleared to fight since the last PPV and he needed a doctors note.
The third match was BG James vs Kip James. BG did his mic. thing, then Kip grabbed the mic. and started to talk smack then asked how BG’s dad was. – BG James won
Then Rhino came out and said he didn’t come to Iowa for nothing and told Storm to come out. Storm came out with a doctor’s note and said he would read it to Rhino and the crowd because they were stupid and could not read. He read it like a retarded person, it said he could not fight due to injury. Then Rhino grabbed the note and tossed to ground and said he didn’t care and hit Storm. Then they started the forth match – Rhino vs. James Storm. There was a lot of “Broke back Mountain” chants. – Rhino won
The fifth match was for the TNA Tag Team Titles – Jay Lethal and Soma Joe vs. AJ Styles and Tomko. Tomko still had a black eye from the 3/27 Live Impact. – AJ Styles and Tomko won. After the match Joe and Lethal had a beat down AJ Styles and Tomko. – Funny thing after the match, when Lethal and Joe were celebrating
the beat down in the ring, AJ and Tomko were walking to the back when a drunk fan came up and started hitting them, as if he thought it wrestling was real, the cops grabbed him and dragged him outside. Only a few people saw it – it was hilarious!
The sixth match was a No DQ match of Robert Roode vs. Booker T. The match started and Booker tossed Roode into the gard rail a couple of times. Roode tried to use the chair and Booker ended up kicking it into Roode’s face – Booker T. won.
After the matches there was a TNA picture and autograph signing in the ring with Booker T. for $20. Also, Gail Kim, ODB, and Lethal walked around in front of the crowd signing autographs. I saw Scott D’Amore and yelled “Hey, Scott” and he turned around
and shaked my hand, I was the only one who recognized him, even though there was a guy during Roode vs. Booker match that had a sign saying “Team Canada Reunite, eh”
