A lot of you might have read over the weekend all over the Internet, from Jim Ross’ Ross Report over at WWE.com through all the news and rumors sites out there, that WWE will be getting rid of Ross. The rumor over the weekend was that Vince McMahon offered Mike Goldberg, UFC’s play-by-play announcer for years, a large amount of money to come over to RAW, and the deal was all but signed and delivered. As it turns out, Goldberg turned WWE down, and will not be headed to Monday nights.
However, the latest we’re getting is that WWE’s decision to let Ross go from the position, due to stupid reasons, such as he’s not “pretty enough to be on TV,” stays. Tonight will most likely be his last RAW, although there’s no word yet, on how they’re going to go about it, or who’s going to replace him.
I expect Ross to end up being the person that Mr. McMahon will fire over last week’s stunners from Stone Cold. No word on a replacement yet.
