What will go down tonight on SpikeTV, as the WWE presents Monday Night RAW only twenty-four hours after WrestleMania 21. The show eluminates from the same arena as the PPV did — Staples Center.
So far, WWE.com has only teased that the outcome of WrestleMania will be felt on the show – a statement everyone could make on their own. Anyway, another tease is that Edge gets to decide when he will face Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. My best guess here is that they will keep that a secret until the right time and opportunity arise. In the meanwhile, it creates for a perfect addtion to Edge’s gimmick of bragging and bitching. I would look for that to come into effect tomorrow on RAW.
If WWE is smart, Batista will open RAW tomorrow. If we get the same promo we’ve gotten from Triple H before as the beginning of the program, then they’re already one step behind. They need to realize tha they have to make Batista’s run unique from Benoit’s and Orton’s, and that this time around, it needs to be about the champion; not about when will Triple H get it back. They’ve paid too much attention on Triple H getting his belt back in the past, rather a new era beginning. Let’s see what they do tomorrow.
Many of you are expecting a Draft Lottery on RAW tomorrow. May I ask why? Nobody has said anything official about such an event taking place. It’s the WWE, though, so yes, it could happen with no advertisement whatsoever, but I highly doubt that.
I would expect for the direct fallout from WrestleMania to be felt on RAW. If they decide to shoot something with Randy Orton before he leaves due to an injury, tonight would be the night to do that. However, I’m pretty sure that won’t be taking palce, either.
We should hear from Shawn Michaels, who will perhaps end up being a gentleman when it comes to Angle. That should be interesting.
We should be getting some updates on Chris Benoit and Shelton Benjamin who looked pretty banged up after the ladder match. I have the feeling that these two guys, alongside the other participants of the match will square off again, unless there’s separate storylines planned for some.
I don’t know why, since they are 100% random about it now, but I think we’ll see a Chris Jericho Highlight Reel tomorrow on RAW.
Seeing as it’s a “right after the PPV” type of RAW, expect a match or two that don’t have anything to do with what’s currently going on with storylines. We might see Chris Masters here.
We should definitely hear from Muhammad Hassan, who might take some “severe” actions after what happened to him at WrestleMania.
Let’s see if I’m right!
