The following piece of information was announced on the Post and Courier website earlier today:
While they haven’t mentioned one another specifically by name, former dating partners and native Illinoisans C.M. Punk (Phil Brooks) and Maria (Kanellis) appear to have gotten in subtle digs during recent radio interviews.
The 26-year-old WWE diva and 2008 Playboy cover, commenting on her past relationship with Punk, said the two broke up because of wrestling and that she is currently is dating someone outside the wrestling business. “Looking for someone who’s going to treat me like a lady and not like one of the boys,” she noted.
In a separate interview, when discussing Playboy playmates, the 30-year-old Punk said, “Playboy playmates are so overrated. I also like women with brains.”

I agree with CM Punk he and Maria didnt make a good pair. i could see them both splitting up. its just they both dont seem like a pair that would last long.
I think they broke up because Punk found out about Maria doing playboy. and he hate playboys! Maria just choose playboy over her boyfreind! come on who would dump CM Punk!! hes hot!!

OMFG Punk doesn’t like Playboy…umm is he gay cuz men are obsessed with that magizine. I LOVE Phil (Punk) but that really surprizes me…My friend and my brothers one ex girlfriend when they were in HS posed for Playboy, i love ya girl…i think it takes a lot of courage to pose naked for a magazine like Playboy…and Maria’s Cover for Playboy was gorgeous…Sorry Phil (Punk) but i gotta disagree w/you about Playboy
~they definatly did NOT make a good couple, so i’m glad they broke up when they did.

Plus phil did treat her like a lady,i bet she just wanted things her way! He didnt even treat her like a boy! and how can you like a girl with not brains says punk and i do agree. Shes giddy and loud.

I hate Playboy!,Its for girls who have nothing to do in there time so they strip off and pose! so single men can look. I dont see the point in it niether does punk!
