According to Dave Meltzer, D.H. Smith is scheduled to be called up to the RAW brand and join Randy Orton’s group The Legacy. While this sounds like a logical move, it breaks up previous plans for a trio that was to feature Smith and T.J. Wilson as a tag team managed by Natalya, with the three being brought to SmackDown! as The New Hart Foundation.
Word has it that Rey Mysterio has agreed to a new contract with WWE. Although there’s no word on whether or not Rey actually signed a contract proposed by head of relations John Laurinatis, the internal feeling is that he has agreed to terms for a three-year deal, with a two-year option. His current deal was expiring very shortly. In fact, it had actually expired but since he was out of action for a longperiod of time due to injury, the standard WWE deal allows the company to extend the time frame in this situation.
