Batista’s recovery from hamstring surgery continues. According to his official website, he’s six weeks away from being able to work his legs out. He’s expected back around the summer of 2009. We wish him a speedy recovery!

I’ve gotten a couple of e-mails from TBLWrestling.com readers concerning MVP and the gimmick he’s been doing for the last week at house shows. He’s been losing matches, after which he has gotten on the microphone and has told the audience he is quitting WWE. This is obviously worked as he did it again at last night’s house show in MO after losing to Kizarny. MVP has been told by higher-ups that after being int he doghouse for so long, his “losing streak” on SmackDown! will lead to a babyface turn. One has to wonder how the “I Quit” gimmick will be worked into it, but the feeling is WWE will do the gimmick on TV as well pretty soon.
