– There is talk of Santino Marella getting a bit of a repackage in regards to his character. He’s been telling the media that he may be getting a new on screen girlfriend and even a stable. There was also talk a few months ago about WWE development wrestler Al Barone being brought up to Raw as his bodyguard.
– Chris Jericho is expected to defend his Intercontinental Title against a mystery opponent. Even though he currently has a program with Shawn Michaels, don’t be surprised if his opponent will be someone else.
– Also at Night of Champions, we will see the first ever Divas Title match. We already know that Natalya will be one of the Divas involved in the match, it is still unclear who she will be facing. SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero is expected to announce Natalya’s opponent during the PPV.
