iMPACT! did a higher rating than ECW On Sci-Fi this week, as ECW only did a .99 rating this week.
– TNA officials appeared to be interested in the services of the Ultimate Warrior when he announced his return to wrestling a few weeks ago, but these days it looks to be a dead issue. They aren’t talking about bringing him in anymore, so it doesn’t look like it’s going to happening.
– A number of people in TNA are concerned about Kurt Angle’s health these days. Things got so bad that at the Slammiversary pay-per-view last week, Karen Angle practically acted hysterical when she saw him “out of it.” Tomko then consoled her, saying he was simply “working.” Angle wanted to wrestle on TNA’s recent tour of the U.K., but the company asked him to rest.
– U.K. wrestler Doug Williams has indeed signed a contract with TNA and will be working as a regular. He is expected to start with the company at next week’s Impact tapings.
